Nine wind-powered machines in groups of three are place in various locations on the grounds for the Keizer Transit Center, a public transit bus station in Keizer, Oregon. Made of steel and stainless steel, these whimsical machines move as though they are swimming through the air. As with all of my kinetic wind sculptures, this public art installation is a changeling, adapting and morphing with changes in the weather. This sculpture was made possible through a commission awarded by the Salem/Keizer Transit Authority.
