"Of Wind and Rust #2" has been designed to look like an artifact from a past era. Weathered sheet metal from an antique billboard has been used to construct the paddles and weathervane fin. Rusty springs from a Nevada ghost town are attached to wire found in the Black Rock Desert. An old Telegraph line is used for the axle. The axle hangs from an antique ceramic insulator. Rounded river stones act as weights and counter balances. Blue/green copper tubing supports the paddles and houses the bearings. The support tower is constructed of welded steel that has been given a dark rust patina.
